For those of you who haven't had the pleasure in person, this is the lovely Paquette, in whose honour this website was named. She's just 12, very clever and chatty, rather timid, extremely affectionate, a WICKED huntress, and - as you can see from the pic - really beautiful.
I named the site for her because she has adopted my sewing room as her own, and is never happier than when she's getting in the way and demanding tummy rubs while I'm trying to cut out patterns. 😂 She's even brave enough now to hang around when the overlocker gets called into action, and that sounds like a very loud tractor, so she's obviously settled right in.
Her twin brother, Captain Haddock is extremely jealous about her sudden internet fame, but we'll have to deal with him in another post..
